Section 4, The Corrosive Substances Act, 1969

(1) No person shall purchase or otherwise obtain anycorrosive acid unless under a licence granted for that purpose by the
Commissioner of Police.
(2) Every licence granted under subsection (1) shall be in
the form shown in the Second Schedule to this Act or as near
thereto as circumstances may require.
