Section 114, The Local Government Act, 2004

All documents executed in accordance with this Act andall other documents purporting to be written or issued by or under the directions of a local council and purporting to be signed by the Chairperson or other authorised officer of the council, shall be received as prima facie evidence in all courts and shall be deemed to be executed, issued or written by or under the direction of the council without proof, unless the contrary is alleged.
