Section 44, The National Youth Service Act, 2016

Any person who is not eligible to participate in the servicescheme participates or attempts to participate commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not less than five million Leones and not exceeding ten million Leones or to imprisonment for a term of two years or to both the fine and imprisonment.
