Section 4, The Public Procurement Act, 2016

(1) The governing body of the Authority shall be a Boardconsisting of– (a) the Chairman, who shall be a person competent and knowledgeable in public procurement and the public service; (b) a representative of the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice and the Chief Executive who shall be Ex-Officio members. (c) five persons appointed for their knowledge and experience in public procurement and the public service, of whom two shall represent public sector interests and three shall represent the broad cross-section of the private business community and professional associations of which two shall be women; 6 7 Continuance of National Public Procurement Board of (2) The Chairman and members refered to under paragraph (c) of sunsection (1) shall be appointed, appointed by the President and subject to the approval of Parliament.
