(1) the Minister may, in consultation with the Public SectorRefonn Unit, establish such tecbnical dkectorates, district education offices and disrict or merge existing technical dbectorates as he may consider oecessary for the implementatioD of the programmes and skategies of rhe Minists-Y, including - (a) Parherships and Financing Directorate; (b) Educational Services and Programmes Directorate; (c) School Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Resource Directorate; (d) Policy and Plaming Dircctorate; (e) Curriculum and Research Directoratq and (f) Non-Formal andAduhEducation Directorate. (2) A technical directorate or district education office established under subsection (1) shall be headed by a Directot or Deputy Director, respectively. & The Ministry shall collaborate witi semi-autonomous bodies including - (a) the WestAtican Examinations Council, for the purPose of the conduct of public examinations and other iusessmeots; Na N().
