Section 62, The Employment Act, 2023

(1) Subject to paragraph (b) of subsection (2), a workershall not be required to work more than 48 hours per week. (2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), an employer and worker may by contract agree that the normal working hours per week are to be – (a) less than 40 hours; or (b) more than 40 hours, provided that such agreement does not require a worker to work more than 48 hours per week.
