Section 12, Academy Act , 2017

(1) The Academy shall have such faculties consisting ofdepartments as may be determined by the Council. (2) Each faculty shall be governed by a Board, which shall be composed of the Dean of faculty who shall be the Chairman and the following other members- (a) The Principal and Vice-Principal; (b) all professors, readers, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, assistnat lectures and other full-time staff of equivalent grades in the constituent departments or nominees of the faculty; (c) Heads of departments or nominees of such heads in the associate departments of the faculty; (d) two students from amogst full time students of the Academy, studying within the faculty and elected annually by secret ballot of the students in the constituent departments.
