Section 36, the Local Government Act, 2004, exercising authority

(1) Each department referred to in subsection (2) of section 35 shall be headed by a Director who shall be appointed by the Board
on such terms and conditions as the Board may determine.
(2) A Director shall have the professional qualification
and proven experience required to perform his duties in the department.
