Section 38, The Independent Media Commission Act, 2000. [Margin: Short title.]

(1) The Commission may by statutory instrument make regulations for the purpose of giving effect to this Act and may in particular, make regulations in relations to the following— (a) the issue, conditions, duration, suspension or cancellation of any media licence or registration; (b) radio and television broadcasting; and (c) anything required to be prescribed under this Act. (2) The Commission shall only make regulations under subsection (1) after due consultation with SLAJ and any other media practitioners' associations. [Margin: Existing media institution.]
