Section 101, Terrorism Act, 2012

(1) Where for the investigation or prosecution of anunlawful activity or money laundering offence or financing of terrorism offence or for the making or execution of any orders or directions made under this Act in respect of these offences, any assistance is required from a foreign country, the competent authority may request mutual assistance from that foreign country as if the investigation, prosecution, making or execution is a criminal matter within the meaning of this Act. (2) Where a request is made by a foreign country in the investigation or prosecution of any offence under this Act in that country or for the making or execution of any order or direction made in that country in respect of the offence, the competent authority may provide assistance as if the investigation, prosecution, making or execution is a criminal matter within the meaning of this Act.
