Section 14, The Public Elections Act, 2012

(1) For the purpose of registering voters for the electionof the President of Sierra Leone, members of Parliament and members of a local Council, the Electoral Commission may, by statutory instrument, divide Sierra Leone into wards. (2) The Electoral Commission may, from time to time divide a ward into registration areas (hereafter referred to as sub-wards) as it thinks necessary for the proper execution of its duties.
