Section 4, The Industrial Relations and Trade Union Act, 2024

(1) The Public Service Commission shall appoint the Commissioner of Labour and Labour officials, including Directors, as may be necessary for the purposes of the implementation of this Act. (2) The Commissioner of Labour shall have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Relations, Law, Social Work, Public Administration, Social Science or Labour related fields from an accredited University with at least 10 years working experience.
