Section 56, The Industrial Relations and Trade Union Act, 2024

(1) A member of a trade union or employers' organisationor the Registrar may apply to the Industrial Court for an injunction prohibiting an officer of the trade union or employers' organisation from holding office or dealing with funds of the trade union or employers' organisation. (2) On an application made under subsection (1) the Industrial Court may, if it is satisfied that such officer is disqualified under section 55 from holding office in that trade union or employers' organisation or that there is a reasonable case against such officer for the fraudulent misuse of the funds of the trade union or employers' organisation, make the necessary order granting such application.
