Section 149, The Criminal Procedure Act, 2024

(1) The Court may from time to time adjourn a trial, ifnecessary.
(2) In the event of an adjournment, the assessors shall be
required to attend at the adjourned sitting and at every subsequent
sitting until the conclusion of the trial.
