Section 54, The Criminal Procedure Act, 2024

The Court may, when exercising the powers conferred uponit by section 52 or 53, order that the whole, or such portions as the Court thinks fit, of the expenses paid, be paid over to the prosecutor or to the defendant, as the case may be.
