SectioD 1 of the National Youth Service Act, 2016 is amended by the repeal and replacemeat ofthat section with following new seclion - "Interpretation. 1 In this Act, unless the cont€xt otherwise requires - "Chairman" means the Chaimlan ofthe Boaxdl "Ex€cutive -Director" means the Executive - Direcior of tbe National Youth Service appointed under section 18; "graduate" means a person to whom a Degree has been awarded by a university and below tle age of (35) thirty five years; "members" means members of the Board ; "Minister" means the mirdster responsible for youtlr affairs and "Ministry" shall be construed accordingly; "non-graduate' 'means a Siera Leonean with BECE, WASSCE, Diplom4 from any recognised mstihrtion and are below the age of (35) thirf five year; "Service" means the National youth Service established rmder section 2; "service corps" meaos graduates who are enlisted in the National Youth Service scheme: "service scheme" means the National youthser./ice scheme that service participants uldertalie tbr a period of one year.
