Section 77, The Insurance Act, 2000

(1) Every insurance intermediary shall keep records of all insurance transactions undertaken by him. [Margin: Records to be kept by insurance intermediaries.] (2) Records kept by virtue of subsection (1) shall contain particulars as to the names and addresses of the insured persons and the insurers under coverages procured by the insurance intermediary, the nature of the coverages, the premiums collected and such other particulars as may be prescribed.
