Section 13, **The Sierra Leone Housing Corporation Act, 1982** [Margin: Short title.]

(1) The Minister may, after consultation with the Corporation give the Corporation directions of a general character as to the discharge by it of its functions in relation to matters appearing to the Minister to affect the public interest, and the Corporation shall give effect to any such directions. A 90 No. 5 *Sierra Leone Housing Corporation* 1982 (2) The Minister may, after consultation with the Corporation, give the Corporation specific directions for the purpose of remedying any defect which may be disclosed in the general arrangements of the Corporation for the discharge of its functions under this Act, and the Corporation shall give effect to any such directions. (3) The Corporation shall afford the Minister facilities for obtaining information with respect to the property and functions of the Corporation, and shall furnish him with returns, accounts and other information with respect thereto and afford him facilities for the verification of information furnished in such manner and at such times as he may require.
