Section 34, 62 of the Environmental Protection Act, 2008, the Board hereby makes

(1) Every Mine Closure Plan shall be implemented in aprogressive manner during the life of the project and shall involve a continuous series of activities starting from the initiation of the project. (2) Rehabilitation of disturbed areas shall be carried out on an on-going basis, before, during and after the final closure of operations. (3) Closure referred to in sub-regulation (2) comprises the rehabilitation activities included in the Environmental Management Plan and the Mine Closure Plan.
