Section 80, 62 of the Environmental Protection Act, 2008, the Board hereby makes

(1) The Act and these regulations shall not apply to anyland marked on the cadastral survey map in accordance with paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section 46 of the Mines and Minerals Act, 2009 and known to be closed to mining. (2) In application of sub-regulation (1), the cadastral survey map shall depict all national parks, natural reserves, archaeological sites, and other protected areas established throughout Sierra Leone in accordance with paragraph (d) of subsection (2) of section 176 of the Mines and Minerals Act, 2009.
