(1) A person who for the purpose of being carried withoutlawful authority or reasonable excuse takes or retains hold of, or gets
on to, or alights from a motor vehicle or trailer while the motor vehicle
is in motion on a road, commits an offence and is liable on summary
(2) A person who for the purpose of being drawn, takes
or retains hold of a motor vehicle or trailer while the motor vehicle is
in motion on a road, commits an offence and is liable on summary
