Section 41, The Road Traffic Act, 2007

(1) Where the name of a person to whom a certificate isissued is removed from the register in pursuance of Part III or this Part that person shall on receipt of written notification from the LicensingAuthority surrender the certificate to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days of the receipt of the notice. (2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an Le250,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
