Section 7, Sierra Leone Electricity and Water Regulatory Commission Act 2011,

(1) A permit issued under these rules shall be valid for aperiod of 5 years.
(2) A permit may be renewed at the end of its term subject to
the holder complying to the terms and conditions of the permit.
