Section 12, The National Fertilizer Regulations, 2020.

(1) A person who intends to carry on the business ofdistributing or retailing fertilizer shall apply to the Agency for a licence for that purpose. (2) An application for a licence under sub-regulation (1) shall be accompanied by an application fee and shall be in such form as may be prescribed by the Agency including details of - (a) the name, telephone number, email address and address of the applicant; (b) the name, telephone number, email address and address of the distribution points of the applicant; (c) the description of the business premises of the applicant; (d) the evidence of registration of business; and (e) any other information that the Agency may require. (3) The Agency shall, on receipt of an application under sub-regulation (1), notify the applicant within 14 days from the date of receipt of the application.
