These Rules shall apply to electrical professionals or electricalcompanies that undertake-
(a) electrical activities which includes–
(i) electrical design;
(ii) installation;
(iii) maintenance;
(iv) testing;
(v) inspection;
(vi) contracting;
(vii) consultancy;
(b) electromechanical activities;
(c) manufacture of electrical goods and materials;
(d) importation of electrical goods and materials.
