Section 123, Civil Aviation Act, 2017 for an effective aviation safety and security

A person who imparts or conveys or causes to be impartedor conveyed false information, knowing the information to be false, concerning an attempt or alleged attempt being made or to be made, to do an act which is an offence under this part commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding 2,000 United States Dollars or its equivalent in Leones or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or to both such fine and imprisonment.
