Section 4, The Pharmacy and Drugs Act, 2001

For the purpose of advising the Board on the classification of drugs for the purposes of this Act, there shall be a Committee of the Board known as the "Drugs and Quality Assurance Committee" consisting of the following— (a) the Director of Drugs and Medical Supplies, who shall be Chairman; (b) the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences or his representative who shall be a pharmacist; and (c) any two pharmacists who are members of the Board selected by the Board from time to time.
