Section 11, The Commercial and Admiralty Court Rules, 2020

(1) Where a Judge is satisfied that it is impossible toserve an originating process on a defendant or respondent within the life span of the original process, and a plaintiff applies before the expiration or renewal of the process, the Judge may renew the original or concurrent process for another period not exceeding 3months. (2) An originating process shall be renewed only once and shall not be in force for more than 6 months.
