Any person who makes a false answer to any questionlawfully put to him in pursuance of the provisions of any regulations made under section 25 of this Ordinance knowing it to be false or not believing it to be true shall be guilty of an offence and liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds or to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for a period not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
