Any person who, being an officer charged with the Falsificatirmof return at
counting of votes or the making of a return at any election, election.
wilfully falsifies the account of such votes or makes a false
return shall be guilty of an offence and liable, on conviction, to
imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for a period not
exceeding five years.
