Section 68, The Rural Area (2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on the first day of January, 1950, or

(1) It shall be the duty of village committee to- (a) keep clean and maintain streets, lanes, squares public places within the limits of the village area; (b) provide and maintain cemeteries; (c) execute minor public works; and Duties and powers of and village committees.
