Section 7, The Trade Marks Act, 2014

The Registrar shall register the trade mark, publish areference to the registration and issue the applicant with a certificate of registration if - (a) the registration has not been opposed within the prescribed time limit; or Examination and opposition to registration of trade mark Registration certificate No. 8 The Trade Marks Act, 2014No. 8 The Trade Marks Act, 20146 7 (b) the registration has been opposed but the opposition was decided in favour of the applicant.
