Section 162, The Mines and Minerals Act, 2009

(1) The Government of Sierra Leone shall have the optionto acquire on such terms as shall be agreed upon between the holder of a large-scale mining licence and the Government, shareholding interest in any large-scale mining operations. (2) Any agreement concluded under subsection (1) shall be done with the advice of the Minerals Advisory Board and with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance. PART XIX–MISCELLANEOUS
