Section 163, The Mines and Minerals Act, 2009

The holder of a mineral right shall in the conduct of hismining operations give preference to-
(a) materials and products made in Sierra Leone;
(b) service agencies located in Sierra Leone and
owned by-
(i) Sierra Leoneans;
(ii) companies or partnerships incorporated
or registered in Sierra Leone; and
(iii) Public Corporations.
