Section 26, The Payment Systems Act, 2009

(1) Subject to the rules of the system concerned, thedischarge of settlement obligations between institutions participating
in the system is effected by means of entries to accounts maintained
with the Central Bank for settlement purposes.
(2) Such settlement is final and irrevocable, and shall not
be reversed or set aside.
