Section 8, The Breast-Milk Substitutes Act, 2021

(1) The activities of the Committee shall be financed byfunds consisting of- (a) moneys appropriated from time to time by Parliament for the purposes of the Committee; (b) moneys given to the Committee by way of gifts, bequests, grants or other contributions: Provided contributions shall not beaccepted from manufacturers or distributors of designated products. (c) all other moneys which may, from time to time, accrue to the Committee. (2) The funds of the Committee shall be applied only for the purposes of the approved budget of the Committee.
