(1) The National Seed Testing Station established undersection 59 Seed Testing of the Act shall be the official seed testing station. (2) The National Seed Testing Station shall– (a) license seed testing stations in accordance with section 60; (b) monitor seed testing stations; (c) inspect registered seed crops and conduct laboratory tests on submitted samples in accordance with International Seed Testing Association rules; (d) test all exported and imported seeds in accordance with International Seed Testing Association rules; and (e) issue international and national seed certificates respectively; (f) record the results of laboratory seed tests; Controlled growth. Seed Packing. 8 9 (g) record the results of laboratory seed tests in accordance with Form 17 as set out in the Seventh Schedule and state whether the seed can be offered for sale; (h) retain a portion of each submitted sample for referenc during the validity of the certification period.
