Section 25, Sierra Leone Seed Certification Agency Regulations, 2018.

(1) No person shall sell seeds without a seed seller'slicence issued by the Controller of Seeds as set out in Form 15 of the Seventh Schedule. (2) An application for a seed seller's licence shall be made in accordance with Form 14 set out in the Seventh Schedule and shall be accompanied by a fee prescribed in the Sixth Schedule. seed analysts. seed testing. seed processing. seed sellers. (3) The Controller of Seeds shall issue a seed seller's licence if he is satisfied that the applicant has the ability, appropriate knowledge and facilities to maintain the quality of seeds. (4) A seed seller's licence shall- (a) set out the conditions relating to the maintenance of the seeds to be exposed for sale; and (5) A licensed seed seller shall be subject to the supervision of the Agency and shall maintain a level of performance satisfactory to the Controller of Seeds. (6) The Controller of Seeds shall keep a register of holders of seed seller's licence. (7) The Controller of Seeds or his representative shall enter and inspect any premises where seeds are kept for sale. (8) A report of every seed premises inspection shall be made by the seed inspector in accordance with Form 22 of the Seventh Schedule and shall be countersigned by the owner of seeds or his representative.
