Section 47, The Arbitration Act, 2022

(1) Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, an arbitraltribunal management shall, within 21 days of being appointed, schedule an arbitration conference, upon giving not less than 7 days' written notice to the parties and the arbitration management conference shall be held with the parties or their representatives in person or through electronic or telecommunication media. (2) The decisions of the arbitral tribunal at an arbitration management conference shall be in writing. (3) The arbitral tribunal may hold further arbitration management conferences as is considered necessary upon written notice to the parties.
