Section 14, Act, 2002 (Act No 12 0f 2002);

The Company shall, except when prevented by unavoidablecircumstance or other unavoidable cause or the execution of necessary work, cause the water in all mains and service pipes which are used for supply, otherwise than in bulk, to be laid on constantly and at reasonable pressure provided that- (a) the Company shall not be required to deliver water at a height greater than that to which it will flow by gravitation through its mains from the service reservoir or tank from which the supply is provided; and (b) the Company may in its discretion determine the service reservoir or tank from which any supply is to be made.
