Section 45, 62 of the Environmental Protection Act, 2008, the Board hereby makes

The prohibition of the discharge of any toxic and hazardoussubstance into the air or in, on or under the land and waters of Sierra Leone imposed under subsection (5) of section 58 of the Act shall apply to discharges from mining activities which infringe the effluent and emissions quality standards established by these Regulations.
