Section 6, The Customs Regu- Citation

The particulars contained in every form or documentsubmitted by any person doing business with the Customs shall be printed, typed or written thereon legibly in ink or other indelible material and every alteration in any such form or document made prior to its acceptance must be made in such a manner as to leave the error as well as the alteration legible. Every such alteration shall be initialled and dated by the person making it.
